The smiling tiki of Utukua can be found in the valley of Punaei on the island of Hiva-Oa. As its name suggests, this tiki is unusual in that its face has an expression, and a happy one at that! It is a representation of the Queen of Utukua.The site is easy to get to, but if you go with a guide, he'll be able to explain its history and the legends associated with it.
